"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn" - Benjamin Franklin
Hello, I'm Manuel
Before joining MCM College, I taught various English language courses and Public Speaking courses to undergraduate students at the English Language Centre (ELC). He also taught more specialized English courses (ESP) to officer candidates at the Academy for Public Security Police of Macau (ESFSM).
In 2011, I received my Ph.D from the University of St. Joseph. My dissertation focused on the linguistic evolution of Macau Portuguese and I had also co-authored several articles related to that field. I'm also interested in Technology-Assisted Language Learning (TALL) and E-Tutoring, and had presented widely in international conferences.
I am active in sports. I am a member of the staff football team and also a keen distance runner.
